JNF: Fire Fund Fundraiser
Sunday, December 18, 2016 • 18 Kislev 5777
All DayDear Friends,
As always we have been following the events in Israel closely, worried about our brothers and sisters in Israel who live in the path of raging wildfires. Thankfully, the casualties have been few, but the damage to property and land have been extensive. Homes, playgrounds, parks, and forests have been destroyed. The Jewish National Fund has set out to raise funds in rebuilding and fire prevention.
Please consider participating in the YIP Fire Fund, our drive to give as a community to this cause. We already have an anonymous donor who will match up to $18,000 for this campaign.
You can donate online by clicking (here) or leave a check in my mailbox made out to the Young Israel of Plainview and in the memo box write Fire Fund. God willing our efforts will help families return to their lives and help stave off such tragedies in the future.
Sincerely,
Rabbi Elie Weissman
