We ask you to join the Plainview Fire Department as we support one of our own members.

Dan Levy, an Ex-Captain of Engine Co. #1, has served his family and community through out his life and now

HE is in need of our support. He is suffering from a rare neurological disorder that has left him unable to work.

On September 11, 2001 Danny responded to Ground Zero to assist in the Rescue / Recovery effort. Danny's

symptoms are similar to those of some of the FDNY's own firefighters who responded to the disaster

on September 11, 2001. Danny worked alongside the BRAVEST at Ground Zero and now is in need of

help from the BRAVEST!!  Danny is an American Israeli. We are asking the Synagogues in the Plainview

Community for help. Please make your donation checks payable to the Plainview Fire Department.

The check can be dropped off at 17 Hollywood Dr c/o Bill Mlotok or at PFD Headquarters 885 Old Country Rd.

If you have old cell phones, please drop them off at the home of Alan Fromm.  If nobody's home, you can leave them

in the mailbox, or just hang them in a bag on the doorknob. Easy money for the shul!

All parents of nursery aged children are reminded that they MUST pick up their children from groups at the immediate

end of shul or by 11:45 if the tefilla runs longer.

The Rabbi’s Office Hours are Monday and Wednesday between 8:00 and 10:00 PM
