Plainview, NY, December 17, 2015:  The Young Israel of Plainview and Mikveh Association of Long Island has announced the headliner for their 2016 Comedy Night event. Celebrated comedian Stuart Rappaport, a mainstay on the domestic comedic scene, will be performing live, in person, at their temple. The event, which will start at 8:30 pm, will be held on Saturday, January 9th and will take place at the synagogue’s address, 132 Southern Parkway in Plainview.

Mr. Rappaport is a renowned comedian whose legendary quick wit and fabulous sense of humor have earned him both a slew of awards and widespread acclaim. He has performed in many different locations where he brings his own brand of clean comedy. He is highly sought after and has built a loyal following among those in the comedic community.

Joey Grover, a member of the organizing committee, was ecstatic at the opportunity to have Mr. Rappaport perform, saying “when we were planning the 2016 Comedy Night event and deciding on a headliner, the consensus opinion was to try and get Stuart Rappaport to perform. Now that it has been confirmed, we believe it was an absolute coup to be able to have him come. The audience is in store for a night of uncontrollable laughter as Stuart shows us why he is the very best at what he does”.
