The Youth Groups
Our children attend a wide range of yeshivot including: the Hebrew Academy of Nassau County (HANC) ( with its elementary school in Plainview), the Hebrew Academy of Suffolk County, the Torah Academy of Suffolk County, the North Shore Hebrew Academy, and others. The Young Israel has an extensive Youth program for all ages.
We offer Jr. Congregation and groups for Shabbos and Yom Tov for all ages from toddlers through teenagers. Shabbatons and school vacation trips and special events are held during year-round for all age groups.
Our monthly Parent-Child Motzei Shabbat learning programs were inaugurated last year and continue to grow.
We participate in the Orthodox little league and have boys and girls teams ranging from first grade tee-ball through the adult softball league.
The shul also has very active award winning Junior and Senior NCSY chapters offering our teenagers an opportunity to meet other orthodox teens from around the New York area.
