15-Min-Hell: Intense Exercise & Self-Defense

We are starting a weekly high intensity exercise & self-defense class for the YIP men and youngsters. The first session is scheduled for Wednesday, August 22 at 8:30 PM. The prerequisite is some "entry level fitness" - exercise may be somewhat challenging, especially at the beginning. The first part of the class will be an introduction to self-defense techniques based on the self-defense philosophy of "gross-body-movements". Those movements may be your most effective self-defense tool during extremely high-stress hostile encounters. Training and practice will follow. In the second half of the class we will have a 15-Min-Hell exercise preceded by a 5-min warm-up. The entire class should not last more than one hour. Please have the following with you: 1. Yoga mat 2. Shorts and 2 dri-fit short-sleeve tees 3. Towel (there will be sweating…) 4. Socks (no sneakers) 5. Bottle of water (flat) 6.
